For more than 20 years, Adriana Brayman has supported individuals in healing their relationships with food, their bodies, and body autonomy. As a Registered Dietitian, Certified Eating Disorders Specialist (CEDS) recognized by the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp™) since 2020, and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor since 2015, Adriana offers compassionate, individualized care for eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image concerns.
Working with Adriana, clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where they feel heard and supported. She uses mindfulness, somatic therapy, evidence-based intuitive eating, and a size-inclusive approach to help clients navigate concerns such as food restriction, binge eating, emotional eating, fear of weight gain, chronic dieting, weight cycling, and feeling “out of control” around food.
Adriana also supports clients managing co-occurring concerns such as OCD, anxiety, substance use, and ADHD. Together, clients explore how consistent nourishment can support brain health, overall well-being, and recovery, including alongside medication management. With practical tools and compassionate guidance, clients can build greater self-compassion, body respect, confidence, and peace in their relationship with food and their bodies.
Adriana completed her Bachelors of Science Degree in Dietetics at the University of Rhode Island in 2001. She completed a Dietetic Internship through Saint Joseph’s College in West Hartford CT in 2002. She completed national reconized examination to become a Registered Dietitian in 2003 and is a Licensed Registered Dietitian in the states of RI and CT and has a private practice since 2011 seeing clients in person and virtually nationally.
