Executive Burnout: Research Suggests Depression Rate Among CEOs is Double the National Level

We often assume the high pay, stock options and other perks that CEOs enjoy surely compensate for the longs hours, travel, and challenges that naturally come with the position. However, research shows depression rate amongst CEO’s may be double the national average. Others believe this executive burnout to be even as high as 50% who suffer from depression at some point in their lives.
